my mom(who passed away) would tell me if you put saline in the dampen before wash clothes, your clothes will not shrink..is this true?
Answers: Salt can HELP with shrinkage and next to setting in color that have been dyed, but it doesn't prevent shrinkage altogether.
Washing clothes within cold water and tally anywhere from a 1/2 cup to 1 cup of regular iodized salt to the purify will help to prevent your clothes from shrinking, but I recommend that you also hang up these items out to dry instead of drying them in the dryer too. You'd be surprised at how much longer your clothes will later if you don't over-dry them!!
