Help this is my first dishwasher and it needs refilling next to salt but when i open the funnel where on earth the salt is kept its full of water , do i only add salt into the marine, i really am not sure what to do.
It should be alright just to put the dish washer salt into it, as it should sink to the bottom of the funnel, the dampen should just flow out with the counterweight of the salt. If you use the tablets then you do not necessitate to add salt to your dishwasher. The saline is used to make the crockery shine..Hope this helps
Hi, just put the salt within until it reaches top of the funnel, obviously put the inventive lid back on and carry on as regular. Also don't forget to put some of the rinse cleaner in every time the dark spot is turning light(that's if you hold that, which i think you probably should) if you don't understand read the booklet that come with the dishwasher, really quite straight forward once you know what you are doing. I be a bit lost at first so don't stress too much. Hope this helps.. yeah, that's fine!
You should have a funnel that you get with the dishwasher. Its supposed to be filled beside water, in reality, the first time you put the salt in it since the first use your supposed to fill the compartment with dampen first!
While your there you may as well spread the rinse aid compartment too!
what do you think of your dishwasher? I love them, il never go stern!
Answers: You are doing the right thing - so many populace don't bother to refill the salt but it does result surrounded by poor washing results even when using the 3in 1 tablets (the packets do state for excellent cleaning still spread up rinse aid & salt!)
The container should always be full of dampen so you just add the saline to it and as the salt sinks down water flows out. Make sure you put the lid properly stern on and then (Importantly) put the machine straight onto at lowest a rinse if not a short wash - point salt water cause rusting so must be rinsed out it also will activate the water softner again.
Use special dishwasher saline - never cooking or table salt as it is too fine and has additives that will choke the dampen softner in the machine.
The brackish is usually free flowing granules but my mum swears by salt tablets that some supermarkets stock as it is a short time ago a matter of throwing in a handfull of the brackish tablets when required - easier than the granules, no need to use the funnel.
To clarify- the dishwasher have an inbuilt water softner and the salt is required for this to be influential (not to make dishes shiney as said before) Failure to refill the saline results in deposits on the dishes, cutlery and a whitish bloom - clouding on glassware called etching.
Rinse aid is a wet solution which makes the water run completely bad everything so that everything dries shiney and smear free
Salt? Yes thats common for water to be in dishwater, where on earth the salt goes, look out, make sure the salt go in the container & not inthe dishwasher bed!
You won't regret buying it, I think they are brill' and hold had one for about 12yrs.
