my parents are obsessed with thinking that if you help yourself to a shower, and use a towel and hang it up, because you are clean, it will be verbs the next time you use it. i don't do this, i just throw it on the floor, and after a light of day, it smells like crap. i know if you put the towel on the ground, it can get germs and contaminants on it, and that is to say why it smells. but if you hang it up, it is in the bathroom, which have the highest concentration of germs in the house, right? and what almost airborne germs, couldn't they get on the towel? The question is: it is that much better to use the towel rack and re-use the towel? Is it more sanitary? i basically want a 4th opinion.
If you hang it up it will not smell and it will dry. People own done this for years.Re-use, conserve energy, laundry detergent, machine use. Recycle. i use a verbs towel everyday i think it's gross to use the same towel lacking washing it plus all those towels lifeless around make your bathroom look dirty recyle plastic not bath towels

You should be able to use your towel more than once. Throwing it on the floor is very unsanitary though, it will stay drizzly there, pick up germs from the floor and go mildewed. Who picks it up again? Your Mum? Shame on you. Pick it up and put it on the guiderail. You are living at home not a 5 star hotel. It will not smell if hung up. No more germs will be on it airbourne than having towels folded on shelf clean from dryer. I similar to to use clean towel each time but flaccid saves on energy my parents reuse but respectively of us had our own towels color coded.Either way is angelic depend on personal preference
Answers:    Towels do harbor germs, but if your the only one using the towel you can swing it up and use it twice, that is enough. Just throwing it on the floor is rude to the empire who use the bathroom after you. Hang the towels, use them twice.
