I have a bagless sweeper and we of late moved into a house that had old-fashioned carpet that smelled of dog urine....So I be always spraying mat cleaner on it and sweeping it....We finally got modern carpet within that room but now I'm afraid to use my sweeper on it because it have an awful odor from the old mat...I've taken out the filters and everything to verbs them.. I even soaked them all contained by bleach and let them dry previously putting them back surrounded by the sweeper....Is it something coming from the bottom of the sweeper that needs wash???....If not, how do I get the odor out of it?... It is a Bissell Powerforce Bagless sweeper.
Answers:    I bet the odor is within the brush. I can't remember what it's called, but it's the one that spins bristles directly onto the runner. It should be pretty easy to remove to verbs, or easy to replace if you conjecture it needs that.
Take it out of doors and dump a big nouns of baking soda on a door mat, then suck it up near the vacuum. Then suck up some clean cat litter, consequently spray it down with some fabreeze or Odoban, later let it run outside for a while.
