Remove Nail Polish Stains From:
Carpet/Synthetic, Carpet/Wool
Scrape as much of the excess as you can without forcing it into the pile. Apply amyl acetate to the stain and cover with an leaky pad dampened with amyl acetate. Keep moist and consent to stand for about 15 minutes, blotting occasionally. Scrape to help loosen the stain. Flush cautiously with a dry-cleaning solvent or Afta Cleaning Fluid. Allow to thoroughly dry.
Answers: straight acetone. I have a three year weak who "painted' her finger nails the other day and get it all over my quilt and carpeting. It took a whole bottle of acetone to do the opportunity, but it comes out. I can't even see where the spill was. You can purchase Acetone from walmart for in the order of $2.
