Answers:    Empty out the toilet as much as you can using a cup or a turkey baster-that you won't be using for turkey again, (ha). Get some enamel paint from any drug store and touch it up. I had duplicate problem and when people come over I was afraid they would surmise I never cleaned my toilet. The paint works great.

Maybe, possibly, if you are REALLY lucky, it possibly could be hard hose stains. Before you replace the toilet, try "The Works" from the dollar stores. If you are really lucky, it will work. If not, you'll have to replace the toilet.There is no unalterable DIY fix for raw porcelain.
