A piece of wet, black yard goods left a speck on the table. It won't wipe off.
Answers:    It it's unstained pine (i.e. the table itself does not enjoy any color or paint on it), you can try a solvent like acetone (nail polish remover). You can't use that however if you hold any time of stain on the table because it will strip that off as capably.

If you have a stained pine table, I would budge with windex and a tooth brush. If the table have a varnish coating, it may be too late.
