My parents smoke, and it gets everywhere. On my clothes, backpack, room everything! I've already tried the stuff softener, perfume, keeping my door closed, and keeping my clothes in the closet. I've asked them to stop smoking, or to at lowest possible go outside and they do for for a moment while but then shift back to smoking inside.
I'm not going to report them to CPS, and as I said above, I've already asked them to stop.
:( Is here ANY other way to find the smoke out? I smell like it at college and people tend to variety fun of me for it. I just want it gone!
Answers: When I still lived at home I be in matching situation. I even have a severe lung condition that put me within the hospital for 3 months my freshman year of high college. My recommendation is to explain to your parents that you have some concerns and that you would resembling to schedule a house meeting. Before you do this, set down and come up next to a letter to them. Tell them how you get hold of made fun of at school. Tell them how it make you feel. Tell them that you are concerned nearly your health. Write down adjectives your concerns and feelings. Ask them to please listen to your missive and then discuss when you are done reading it.
Then proposal some suggestions. Such as they can smoke on the deck, or in one room of the house away from your bedroom. Let them know that if they be to do these things that how that would make you touch. If you approach this in a evolve manner they will be more potential to listen to you. I can't guarantee that they will do what you ask (most parents don't like sensation like they are taking instructions from their kids) but if you explain your heart they will be more likely to listen. If you read a missive to them then it shows them that you enjoy clearly thought things out and it is a major concern to you.
As for the smell, fabreeze works wonders. If you can own a couple potted plants in your room it will give support to to filter the smoke out. Trees work better than smaller plants, although ferns work well too (ferns are also assured to take aid of!)
wow tell them youre getting abused because they smoke . they shouldnt be smoking inside, thats newly STUPID no offence . its not worthy for you or them.
