.Moths? and not moth ball?

I hate moth balls, but enjoy a moth problem in my closet. Any ideas?
besides cedar chips, moths hate the smell of peppermint and lavender. Mix a couple of drops of essential oils of peppermint and lavender, and put a few drops on cotton ball then place them in the closet. You should see a cutback in a short time capture on of those sticky things that hang from the ceiling. those work good.

Get a bag of Cedar chips. Or they also sell cedar hanger. The chips are better, the more you have the better off you are. Also, travel to your local drycleaner and get some moth proof laundry bags. Wrap your really appropriate, expensive clothes in these.
If you have an existing problem. Remove adjectives of your clothes (from the closet), clean them or brush them thoroughly. Get a tube of caulk and seal any marked cracks or holes in the closet, don't forget about effective the floors. Use your shop vac to suck them up and empty it outside. Use essential oil of lavender, a few drops sprinkled on a cotton globe placed in the corner of the closet will repel moths. Make sure you have any garments that could be tattered by the larva thoroughly cleaned.
Answers:    1. Freeze your clothes contained by the freezer--protect them in plastic bags--for at least 3 days to slaughter any moths or eggs on them. To be sure, thaw them for one day and freeze again for 3 more days. If they don't enjoy any metal bits, you can also microwave garments for 10 seconds, instead. Dry cleaning supposedly also kills them.
Also, vacuum the full area super thoroughly, and throw out the vacuum bag right away.

2. Diatomaeous earth, boric acid, or one of the pet-safe sprays, for example at www.planetnatural.com will control (read:kill) moths and adjectives larvae in your closet lacking making your clothes toxic. Be sure and get the stuff into cracks, baseboards, etc.--they hide within.

3. Essential oils like lavender, cedar, peppermint, thyme, rosemary, eucalyptus and a few others will 'repel' moths (as surrounded by, if they're hungry enough, they'll chomp your clothes anyway), but they do work fairly well--I use them for my strand stash--and you can add a few drops to a little vodka to spawn a spray.

Good luck!
