I was wash a load of laundry, and awhile following realized the motor be still running even though it should have be done long ago. The knob was a short time ago going around and around through all the cycles, and although it wasn't continuing to join more water, it be still full of water and soap from the first cycle. It will turn and spin, but the wet doesn't drain out. Do we need to replace it or can it be fixed confidently? Thanks!
Answers: My Maytag washer did this TWICE on us...we replaced the motor hich was below the disappeared front corner [when we revealed the bottom area unfold on machine]...luckily my Maytag man had forewarned me & give me a motor long before this happen...he told me it would be the fist thing to run out on my Maytag...IT DID! But then after awhile it happen again...My husband simply dragged both new electrical device outside & told me to go buy something better...to h*ll beside Maytag I even had an extended warranty not here on them til 2009...we GAVE both the washer & dryer away for FREE! Next day I bought brand trial LG front loaders.love them! And half the time doing laundry, totally great cleaning & big time nest egg! Personally we will never purchase Maytags again...my new home be constructed in 2002 we bought ALL Maytag appliances & I similar to NONE of them! Whirpool has other been my favorite~ and most reliable! Good luck...you own to siphon or buket all that dampen out by the way...sorry
I'm not sure but when my washer wouldn't drain the procession was plugged. We use to use the powder detergent and it would clog the vein up. Just to tell you how awful that stuff is we haven't used it for 3-4 years and later month it did it again, and sure enough in attendance was still a piece of the easier said than done soap in the procession that came out. Like I said I'm not sure if that's what it is but that's what happen to us,Good luck!!
