My washing machine will shake as if the clothes within it are making it out of balance, but this will occur if I hold a light load or hefty. I have even tried it with no clothes and it does it. It is leveled, and doesn't do it every time, but 75% of the time.Only happen on spin cycle. What could it be?
Call a repairman. I MAKE MY LOADS TO BE UNBALENCED ON PERPOSE THEN I SIT AND SPIN WEEEEEEEEEE
You might have the Elvis model! I had an elder machine that did the same point I got it from my mother in statute and she had it in her subterranean vault laundry on concrete and it was not that bad but contained by my home on our second floor it was horrible, it Shook, rattled and rolled right on out the door. The repairman we spoke to sated that model be famous for that and nothing could be done to fix it so we a moment ago got a new one. Are adjectives four feet firmly touching the ground? It might sit level near only 3 feet touching, but it won't be stable. Can you product it shake by rocking it any direction?
Did it ever work or did this start happening recently? If it used to be fine and immediately isn't then, as others have mentioned, its probably broken.
If it seem solid and its level, it might just be too close to the walls or dryer.
Answers: Sounds like one of the springs or straps that holds your drum has become detached.
Take the front panel bad and take a look, or call for repair.

I don't know what the problem is but if you washer is still under warranty, you can appointment Sears at 1-8OO-469-4663 and ask for rapid resolution for washers, they can tell yu teh problem. Ours does matching thing and when we called someone to fix it nearby solution was putting little things underneath it and it did absolutely nil. maybe its not as loud when it shakes...but not by much. Get used to it!
There is a short time part in the drive that might be broken. Or on the bottom of the plastic tub, near are these flat wall things that need to be spaced a certain passageway, on the outside of the legs that hold it. If these are not lined up right then you will attain the shaking. Just take all the outside past its sell-by date of it, turn it over and take the gear and all that rotten, and look to see if any parts are broken, but first check to see if the bottom of the tub is where it is supposed to be. are you sure it is leveled? usually out of balance is due to leveling however it sounds similar to it needs to be rebalanced, a procedure like opposite a tire using weights. This is covered under your warrenty. If if is old loose bearing could also cause this problem.
Drum good posture could be bad. Not too hard to replace, but remember "gone hand" threads on the nut holding the drum. Dude this happened to mine I don't remember what it was exactly but we have to get a new one. Sorry natural life is expensive.
if it is a new front loader it's the flywheel send for the manufacturer, but you may have to live next to it(we bolted it down on our floor) It is either NOT level or you enjoy something stuck in the cylinder that rotates. We don't end up near only ONE sock by accident.
