My leather shoes got drenched contained by chlorinated swimming pool water, and I have to wear them all daytime with no socks on.
Now, they're pretty stinky, and everytime I wear them my foot get stinky too.
I tried spraying them next to febreeze, but the next time I wear them they still pong.
What can I do to remove this smell forever?
Answers: Placing them outside in direct sunshine & stretch out air will dry them out thoroughly...later once dried thoroughly you should lightly coat the leather beside any kind of persative...something to be exact sold in stores is nice to other have contained by hand if you hold leather items...it replenishes the natural suppleness of leather as ably as protects the leather from environmental factors resembling rain, snow, brackish etc...the leather may darken a bit once applied but this will dissapate over time once the leather sucks up the moisture the leather treatment offers! We use leather protectant on adjectives our shoes as well as globe gloves, etc...Make sure your shoes dry out well past applying the leather treatment so as not seal contained by unwanted moisture! Good luck~
1. Allow them to dry naturally.
2. Sprinkle a bit of baking soda within each shoe.
3. Put them within a ziplock-style baggie/s, and place them in your freezer overnight. The freezing heat kills most microbes that cause odor!
4. Allow them to heat up to room temperature (or if it's hot where on earth you live you may wanna put them on directly out of the freezer).
Have an odor free, and terrific day!
