Leather sandals!? I bought a pair of Clark's sandals as they last a long...

I bought a pair of Clark's sandals as they last a long time but even though i go swimming every night and wash my foot in the morning, i'm left near a black foot inprint inside the sandal. What's the best way to clean the inside lacking ruining the material. Thankyou.
I've have the same problem and have cleaned them using the antiseptic wipe that you use for bathroom cleaning. It works! duh! you walk around in sandals! distinctly dirt is going to get in!

You could try some baby grease on cotton wool and gentle wipe the inside of the sole, but to be honest, the marks are from the automatic sweat of your feet, and it's this that contours the shoe to your own personal fitment, so I'd leave it, and wallow in the comfort, after all there's only you that's going to wear them, right ?

Answers:    The only time that should be a problem is if it smells or you enjoy to take your sandals off. I love Clark's as they are so comfortable and use a biological soap sometimes but the see colour remains. I suppose you could try darkening the whole insole beside oil or something? It would help preserve your heels soft as well!!
