Laundry Help? Ok so im doing laundry today and nobodys home to help me...

Ok so im doing laundry today and nobodys home to help me how to set the contraption. These knobs are chance. ok so its a circle and written around it from the top: HOT and under it say 12, 10. After HOT, it says WARM and beneath it, it says 8 6 4 2. After reheat it says SPIN. After spin it say RINSE. After rinse it says SPIN. Theres individual 1 knob you can turn on the circle. Im guessing that after you choose where to place the knob beneath HOT or WARM it moves its way down by itself to SPIN, RINSE, SPIN til it reach the end and stops. i dunno.... but someone help out cuz i dunno how to set my clothes. Should colors go underneath hot or warm?? what number?? And jeans?? please back.

Answers:    Unless your white clothes are VERY dirty, you don't need to clean up HOT or longer than 10 min

I always use the COLD setting for adjectives my clothes. They come out just as verbs and I save on electricity. Again, no stipulation to wash longer than 10 min unless the clothes are heavily soiled.
