Kenmore bagless adjectives or Kenmore Canister vac? After ten years my Rainbow finally died on me so not wanting...

After ten years my Rainbow finally died on me so not wanting to spend that kind of money on a vacume cleaner again, I've turned to a Kenmore bagless upright. It does a great available job on my carpet, tile and laminate but my only complaint is that it doesn't seize under the furniture or in tight spots. I'm tempt to return it to Sears today and exchange it for a more expensive canister style Kenmore vacume. I was just wondering what others preferred more, uprights or canister. The unusual canister vac I'm looking at is Sky Blue which is not only the color, but the name of it. Or conceivably if someone has some suggestions as to the easiest way to verbs the dust/dirt off of laminate wood floors when you're vacume won't reach lower than the furniture, it would be appreciated.
Answers:    I use the Swiffer Sweep & Vac on hard floors, and it does a great job. It'll budge under furniture and it's on a swivel, so it can go around corners. It vacuums up the dirt and what doesn't take vacuumed gets stuck on the dust pad. It's lightweight and unforced to use. I really like it. If you get one, engineer sure you charge it for at least 24 hours (I recommend 48) before you turn it on or your freestyle won't last as long as it could. Hope this helps. Good luck!
