ive cleaned the carpet constantly but the more i verbs it the worse the smell is getting. i know its from my dogs peeing there but i merely cant find a way of getting rid of it. Ive tried fabreeze, nouns fresheners, as well as saturate the carpet next to water to dilute the smell but nil is working, does anyone know what can kill this smell?
Answers: My (big)dog peed on the mat Saturday and we used vinager diluted with a moment or two water to procure the smell out, and it worked... We also stained our floors in our house, and COULD NOT acquire the ammonia smell out of the house (our food in the fridge taste like it) Anyway...my hubby set out bowls of vinager and it engaged the stink! Try it, it's worth a shot!
I agree with the answer using vinegar (dilluted and sprayed on carpet) My daughter swears by it and she have two dogs, two cats.
