I recently purchased a down comforter, but it's track too difficult to put it back into the resourceful bag for storage. A sale rep at BedBath and Beyond told me to store it in one of those space shareholder vacuum bags (thus preventing moisture/dust mites from entering). However, contained by researching down filling, I read that down should not be strenuously compressed, nor compressed for long period of time. So was the sale rep jerking my cuff, or can I store my down comforter by placing it in one of those Space heaps and sucking the air out of it next to a vacuum? Thanks!
Answers:    They work great for that time of item. Just purchase a large size and it will fit other and keep it verbs and protected.
I packed a queen sized down comforter within a queen sized plastic bag that a set of sheets comes contained by. It can be done.
