Answers: pick up your money. i have both. and it take like 6 hours for the darn article to clean the first floor of my house. would be fine if I have a big house! plus, the scoomba leaves a residue behind. go and get a mop.
I have a scooba and love it. However, it is inept to get into corners so you'll entail to wipe them down by hand. But that's zilch compared to mopping the whole floor. They usually cost between $300 & $400. The Roomba you can draw from for $250 ish but I've heard smaller amount great things about them. They're fine for a surface sweep but don't own a strong enough suction to capture the deep down dirt. Also if you hold pets, the pet hair tend to clog them up quite smoothly. I even had a friend who give hers away because she got spanking new carpet and it be too plush for her roomba - just bogged down within it.
