My basement plane apartment gets so sticky and adhesive during the summer. Everything feels raining. I hate to even dance to sleep it is so bad. The sheets and blankets other feel dank or wet and everything is so sticky. How do I deal with this? Would a dehumidifier work to help shrink the dampness/stickiness? Does cigarette smoke have anything to do near it. I am at my wits end, it is miserable within here during the summer and I cannot afford to run the AC 24/7.
