whats the best type, and whats the differance between a condenser or a vented one?
Condenser can be used indoors withou a vent to outside and without steaming up the house near condensation.
Condenser is ideal if tumble dryer is in kitchen or small flat.
I own a Creda Condenser and have been vastly happy with it.
Vented needs somewhere for the steam to shift, so either by leading the hose out of the windowpane, or having a hole put in the wall next to a special cover so that the steam can go out that way lacking you having to have a porthole open, which can be a bit of a pain surrounded by winter or if you need to dry something overnight as it's not very out of danger security wise.
Condensers do not inevitability this, but i've found them to not be as good energy rating sagacious when i have been looking for one and also my dad have one and he said he tries to avoid using it because it takes a while to dry. He's going back to vent when this one packs up!
A vented one wishes a hole putting through an outside wall, the condensing type don't but still tend to leave the room slightly damp, so I would progress with the vented. swirl... they even have free services
Vented are usually AA rate and use less energy(Electricity)
Try the manufactures trellis sites (Philips,Zanussi, Electrolux)

Good luck
Answers: Condenser ones condense the steam into water and collects the wet in a tray. A vent on has a pipe that you head to outside or a separate condenser where the steam can go elsewhere and not steam your house up.
I enjoy a vented one where I front the pipe outside the window, and have hear that the condenser ones break easily, but not sure if that is true! Mine is indesit, but check ones that are liveliness efficient (A grade).
