I'm handwashing? a cotton shirt/jacket type thing my friend consent to me barrow....
a cotton shirt/jacket type thing my friend consent to me barrow. and it said hand bath, so I hand wash it then hung it up to dry resembling I do all my clothes I paw wash. and I go to check on it an hour or 2 after hanging it. and it looked really stretched out, approaching all the extra wet was weigh it down. then I read the sticker and it said to lay it down to dry. so right now it's soaking contained by water again, if I lay it down to dry will it come out usual or since I already let it partially way dry while it be stretched will it stay like that?
Answers: I don't know if it will shift back into shape or not. What you can do if try to foot shape it when you lay it flat to dry. First, lay it on a heavy towel and roll the towel into a cylinder shape. Press benevolently as you roll. This will press out excess water from the garment minus having to wring or verbs it.
Lay it on a another towel or folded sheet. If it still seems really long, try benignly pulling on the side seams and see if you can work the textile into more of a horizontal shaping.
Good luck. It's a shame that happened when you tried to be so alert with the borrowed item. Hope it works out for you.
If it said "lay flat to dry", you should own done that. You CAN reshape it if it's still wet, but if it's stretched, you'll enjoy to wash it again and THEN reshape and lay flat to dry.
