If you remove the sign stale a jar of salsa to dust & use for something else, how do you acquire the sign cement sour I am always buying jar of salsa. I like to can...
I am always buying jar of salsa. I like to can and cook so I am also other buying empty can jars. I want to let go $ and reuse my salsa jars. I go and get the label bad the jar but can't get the epoxy resin off the jar. I own soaked them overnight in hot dampen, srcubed the heck out of them w/ a scouring wipe, & ran them through the dishwasher several times. The cement will not come off, sounds silly but, this is driving me nuts. Any accepted wisdom for that sticky glue? If you know please share. =) gratefulness
Answers: Either the Goo Gone (in the metal can, not the water-based stuff in the plastic bottle) or the acetone-based fastener polish remover will work. Put it on an old cloth or cloth and use that to wipe it off. Otherwise, you'll defrost the glue. But, it will purely smear all over and still be near when the solvent dries.
Also, do this in a light area and wear gloves. These solvents are enormously volatile (evaporate really fast) and generate a lot of fumes that are bleak for you and can be flammable.
Use some acetone Nail polish remover on a cotton ball and it should adjectives come off...
