My dorm has smoke detectors surrounded by every room, hallway, etc. There's one contained by the laundry room too, but there's also something else on the celing and i'm not sure what it is. It's like disc shaped and within the middle it sticks out a little and it covered by a white panama. You can also see a blinking red light lower than the cap. Any perception what this is
