i wanted to hose my jeans in hot dampen so the setting i put it on says hot/cold does this technique that it will wash it contained by hot water and consequently rinse in cold or what cuz i really didnt comprehend?

I would never hose any of my clothes in hot river - always a accident they could shrink. Wash and rinse in cold sea to always be undisruptive!

Yes it means you will wash them in hot and rinsing them surrounded by cold.

But beware washing contained by hot can cause them to shrink and fade.
