I have a pea jacket/coat which is 50%wool and 50% polyester, and it say its dry-clean only! It's for a moment big for me and I was wondering if nearby was a path to purposely shrink it in the wash machine? Is in attendance a certain warmth I should wash it at? It have a zip too, will that be artificial if I attempt to shrink the jacket? Please Please Help! Thanks!
Well, you could shrink 50% of it. You can't shrink polyester. I don't assume the coat would look very well-mannered if you managed to shrink individual half of the bits and pieces it's made from.
That polyester is going to fight you. Nope.
If you are predisposed to destroy this coat merely because it is a little big..rinse it. It's a gamble..are you feeling like to take it.
I'd simply accept it's a bit big and wear a sweater underneath or I'd rob it to the tailor and have it cut down.
Answers: Better stick with it individual a little big, because if you shrink it, it will come out terribly mis-shapen.
