My grey carpet get stained hours ago (while i was sleeping) by Hershey strawberry syrup. We've tried pet stain remover and club soda. Any thinking on how to get it out?

Answers:    This is a more costly solution but I own a Bissell SpotBot which has gotten adjectives sorts of stains out of carpet. I would read aloud it could probably get it. Ask around and see if a friend have one you can try.
