ive never tried the lemon water thing--
but what i use is COLD hose down (to not set the stain) and Hydrogen peroxide. dampen the spot next to cold water (the colder seem to work better) then use the hp-

that will bring back out blood even from polyester so i know its good for a LOT of stains!!
next use clean verbs rags or broadsheet towels to soak up the liquid.
