I consider I own Roaches! Help!!? I saw one about 2 days ago in the bathroom and saw...
I saw one about 2 days ago in the bathroom and saw another today contained by my living room. I literally cried my eyes out for about 2 hours because I never had roaches contained by any homes I've lived in and I'm rather verbs. My cousin told me to buy Combat b/c it worked for her, which I have done. My mother also said to try boric acid. I'm freaking out. Can't relatively afford an exterminator right now. Not sure if I can even sleep here in my apartment tonight. Please update me the Combat will work. I can't live with roaches.
Answers: The Combat gel works wonders. We had a problem next to those little critters when we first moved in and after using the Gel, they were no more.
We hold been roach free for almost 4 years now and I swear by the Combat Gel. Key to it is to put it where on earth you see them in a kind of out of the road place. Don't go crazy with it, but put nearly an inch strip of gel. Check it in a couple of days and if there isn't any, put more out, equal place. Repeat as needed.
The last time we bought it, I think it be about 9 bucks for one tube. (More than enough, by the way).
Never have much success with boric sharp.
In our society we associate cockroaches with being dirty. This isn't really the travel case. They come for food scraps and water. So even if you are a spotless housekeeper, you can still enjoy them. The only way to really bring rid of them is with an exterminator, and have a repeat call round a year later. In winter you will not get copious, and they will not get into bed with you at dark. In summer, if you have one or two now, you will catch swarms so save up and get an exterminator. If you are renting, your hotelier should be obliged to do it. check out your lease.
