I had a carnival last hours of darkness and one of the guys passed out in my bed and peed himself, very soon its all contained by my mattress, is there anyway to really verbs that out, so that it sanitary and doesn't smell?
I have a sneaking suspicion that the pee smell will be motivation for you to start looking for some better friends. Between the fight that bloodied your mat and the pee in your bed, I'd utter enough is plenty. As for your question, you'll lately have to consent to it air out for awhile, and spray it down beside some Lysol.
Human urine is composed or UREA, UROCHROME (which cause the yellowish color) and URIC ACID (a nitrogen-rich acid). UREA & UROCHROME are both water soluable and well clean up near soap and water. URIC ACID is the problem as they bond to fabric and reactivate in humidity and incentive an ammonia like smell. Odor removing products work all right but do NOT use ammonia or ammonia based products.
I'm assuming it is dry already so use an enzyme base product specifically made for urine (available at grocery or home based stores). Turn the mattress on its side so soaking into the mattress is restricted. Then treat and blot with a verbs white cloth until no stain color is present and it is as dry to the touch as possible.
Next, sprinkle baking soda over the area and tolerate stand overnight or maybe even longer if it be extensive and a large nouns. The baking soda eliminates odor and absorb moisture. Re-align the mattress and vacuum thoroughly. If you can, put your mattress outside to "air dry" and remove moisture.
Finally, you can own your mattress professionally, hygienically, cleaned & sterilized by local companies offering this service. Most vacuum, sterilize with UV-C radiation and next treat with an enzyme surfactant. This is after you removed the "stain" but want the mattress sterilized since you sleep in it again.
Answers: Urine has a protein within it that doesn't break down with middle-of-the-road cleansers. You need to buy a cleanser that breaks down enzymes. I use something call Simple Solutions for my dogs accidents. It have the correct chemicals in it. It smells perfect and I don't know why you couldn't use it on your mattress. You would need to pour ample on it to saturate the stain adjectives the way through your mattress, afterwards let it nouns dry. If you can take it outside surrounded by the sun to dry that would be a lot faster. If I be you I would repeat the process twice. Then get an upholstery cleaner to verbs it well. Urine crystallizes when it drys and unless you use an enzymatic breakdown cleaner you will never seize rid of the urine. Good luck!
