I just ran out of pre-treat and I'm not competent to get some more right now. Something within my washer made all of my shirts come out with brownish-green spots on them. Are nearby any things that are found in an average house that I could use to get the stains out?
Answers:    try lately soap and water. or you could soak the clothes in hose and add a little baking soda and vinegar.
Just use the laundry detergent you use for wash to pre-treat the stains. I just scrub it in next to an old toothbrush and wash on cold. Although, brownish green stains sounds approaching a coloring issue which would not be treatable with stain remover or detergent. The only channel to get color transfer out will be to return with some RIT dye remover from the laundry aisle and a box of you favorite color to re-dye the clothing. It is much cheaper than buying new clothes.
