I've tried cleaning it- but of course the color comes off even more- i've taken it to those associates that restore luggage and handbags- but they want over 100 to clean and re-color it.

Answers:    I can't guarantee that this will work, so try it on the inside or somewhere it won't show much, just within case. I have these paint pen that come in lots of different colors. The brand I like best is "Painters" - you can find them at Wal-Mart contained by the craft section, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc. If this does work, you might have to touch it up occasionally.
