I MOP AND MOP AND AS SOON AS THEY DRY I WALK ON THEM WITH WHITE SOCKS AND THEY ARE BLACK, I'VE TRIED MOP AND GLOW, COLORX, STRIGHT BLEACH, VINIGER AND WATER, ANYTHING ELSE I COULD TRY?
your killing your floors, your floors necessitate to be sanded, stained coror of your choice, and polyurethaned.. to a glass finish... that's your problem dear you are using sharp products on your raw floors. Your so lucky to have wood floors, if treated properly, adjectives you would ever have to use is , if anything a very restrained damp mob.period if you cant do the treatment yourself, invest and own someone profesionally and you will never regret it.. enjoy
tt I used to live in an elder house with unfinished wood floors.. I would mop them once a week. UNTIL I notice the floor boards were warping! So, I started using a microfiber mop and vacuuming them frequently to remove pet hair/dust/dirt and mopping them once a month next to a slightly damp mop and vinegar/water or Murphy's oil soap. I would consequently dry the floors...
good luck
You need to use a wet mop/dry mop technique.
First mop it beside a wet mop, and then cart a dry mop or old bath towels and dry the floor. That bearing you are drying up all the dirty water. Also move your mop water frequently. You might want to even try using a deck brush once in a while ti scrub it near.
I would use murphy's oil soap.
You should have them finished
try some brite. it is in a bright sickly bottle you will find it at walmart with the cleaning supplies. works like a charm on hardwood floors. try shifting your mop head.
Answers: Lestoil to get the dirt off and next clean them with Mrs. Meyer's adjectives purpose cleaner. I have yet to find something lestoil will not whip off a wood floor. I would not use anything with grease because if the floors are unfinished and they will absorb the grease.
