I entail back catching mice surrounded by the house!? I cant get rid of mice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried the sticky trays & mouse...

I cant get rid of mice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried the sticky trays & mouse traps beside peanut butter and cheese and the little rats somehow set the trap off next to out getting caught. Also, I have found the sticky traps on the other side of the room so somehow they get hold of away.
Last night I hear scratching contained by the wall. It was so loud I thought it be my dog. I got up moved my dog to another room and the scratchy nouns was still in that. Please help! Should I hire an exterminator? is nearby something else I can try??? I am on a tight budget.

Answers:    You may own something other than mice/rats...depending on where on earth you live. If you call animal control, it might minister to. But if you are SURE it's a mouse or rat, I would get a cat (cheapest and easiest way). Maybe you can 'borrow' a cat from a friend...LoL.
I dislike intensely to say it but you may hold more problems then that. Something may involve to be repaired around the house to keep those suckers out!!!
