My roommate got flypaper goo on my favorite (and only) dress. If it matters, the shell (which the goo is on) is 98% cotton, 2% spandex, and the dress is black.
Answers:    Try some rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth, check a inconspicuous nouns first for color fastness...
Believe it or not...the Magic Eraser..i don't know if you've ever used it on anything else but i love it so much and it will not only get rid of some of the craziest stickiest nastiest stuff, but i've used it on fabric before with no discoloration or anything, although you may want to try-out it in an inconspicuous spot first.

I've used it on orange dye that stained the mat just as a last hope and be surprised it actually worked.

I'll be willing to bed it will work on your dress!

PS the sleight of hand eraser is just a few bucks for a pack of 4 at any grocery store or drug store or hardware store...it's by Mr. Clean and i would recommend always have some around the house as it works on all kinds of stuff!
