Answers: Scrape it off. Chefs certainly use plastic wrap to cook certain dishes to keep hold of in moisture and it will burn and de-ice on the handles of the jar, but not melt into the food (You own to cover the plastic wrap with foil). Once it cools and harden it will just chip right bad.
Try some "Goo-Gone" it is pretty good at getting stuck stuff past its sell-by date.
