Hi all, my aunt give me her 1 year old t.v. and the point reeks of cigarettes!! I own wiped the outside completely down but the entry reeks inside. You put your proboscis to the vents and explicitly all you can smell. My living room stinks. Was wondering if anyone have any ideas?
Answers: Cigarette smoke is the most vile article and so tough to get rid of, especially next to items like electronics.
I be forced to rent an ozone generator (cost about 35.oo for the weekend) and I put it near the stinky electronic component inside a small bathroom and closed the door and let it do its employment. The ozone is capable of neutralize odors, but it has to be more than one of those types you see on home shopping...it's resembling what they use in hotels, hospitals, etc.
It did a pretty well brought-up job, I rented it from one of those places that rents handtrucks, power tools, and things close to that.
A friend later rented it to use surrounded by a car he adjectives, that stunk of smoke.
I would wash the outside near a cleaning soap and water, resembling Mr. Clean or something. Spray the vent area near Febreze. then after it is dry, use a lemon fragrant furniture polish on it. Maybe that will help. And you can use a candle on the floor in the vicinity it but make sure it is contained by a cup or glass candle holder.
