So my brother in canon was fixing our ceiling and gone a terrible echelon of the dust from sanding the ceiling down adjectives over our hardwood floor... it has so abundant crevices and I've cleaned the floor with vinegar and hose down, regular hardwood floor cleaner soap and water, but zilch helps it only continually looks and feels similar to there is this section of dust that will not come up what do I do?
Answers: First of all. You should NEVER use soap and marine to clean your hardwood floors. Do not use flax soap, murphy grease cleaner or any cleaner that has grease. The oil build up will ruin your hardwood floor finish.
Just use a product call "Bona X Hardwood Floor Cleaner"
The kit comes next to a mop and the spray bottle cleaner.
Just mist the hardwood floor lightly after apply the damp mop.
Make sure your mop is individual damp.
The product can be purchased on the Internet.
Just my thoughts: first, you will never seize all that dust out of the crevices of the floor unless you rent a professional vacuum cleaner and try and suck it up. Since that will be here, why not go and gain a polyurethane paint with stain within it and stain the whole floor. You do not have need of to sand the wood floors as the only problem is the white dust surrounded by the crevices, but staining the whole floor (the same stain as the wood is) will stain the white dust the color of the wood and receive it blend in. Otherwise, you could rent a professional sander and sand the wooden floors. Sorry you are stuck beside this problem. Bet your brother-in-law wished he have put down a covering on the beautiful floors. Hope this suggestion help.
That is what I would try and do. Test a small inconspicuous area of the room first, resembling in a secret corner behind a door to see if this will solve the problem. Good luck.
