my book has ink covered contained by the bottom and does anyone know how to get rid atleast most of it

Answers:    Ammonia "might" assistance. Dab it on with a cotton bubble or swab. Try it on a corner first to make sure it will not dissolve to composition.

If it is gel ink, I don't think anything will work on it.
