How to catch rid of candle wax on dresser?
Its very difficult to remove. If you got the big chunks past its sell-by date, you can try and scrape it if your not too worried about the finish. I hold heard that a product called Goo Gone works resourcefully but I cannot validate it. What type of material is the dresser? Is it a hardwood, veneer top, or tiny part board with a laminate on the surface? If it is a hardwood or veneer, you may have to sand down the top and apply a unsullied coat of sealer. try to pick it off with a butter cut. its usually fairly easy to gain off. stay away from strong cleaners because it will take away the stain on your dresser. try some ol' soap, dampen and elbow grease.
Dental Floss
Take a long strand of dental floss, slide it under/between the wax and the flat surface of the dresser and trim it off
Take a damp sponge and remove the excess wax...
Otherwise, pinch a rag place it atop the wax, IRON for 15 seconds and consequently lift...go spinal column with the damp sponge to verbs up the residue.
Let it dry and it should peel right off.
Use a butter knife to scrape it sour then find a cleaner safe to use on the surface to wipe the residue off. if its already dry you can try heating it up near a hairdryer and wiping it off when its soft again
Answers: Take an ice cube and run it over the wax.getting it really cold. It should break away clean.
