you might spend a few buck more to seize the blood off the hearth rug. be sure to remove all body parts first. afterwards tell the mat people your room mate cut his wrist and you have to take him to the hospital... It works trust me
I'm not sure on square foot but I do know they charge by rooms. If you ring up around you can usually get 3 rooms for give or take a few 100 dollars.
