RONSONAL lighter fluid. cheap and effective for all sorts of things. pour a bit on consent to sit for 1/2 hour and then scrub. i use a fingernail brush.there are commercial products available for ex. grafitti remover from imperial soap. if you evolve to know a building super or maybe a janitor at work or school they may set you up next to some, as it usually isn't available except to professionals, and the price is imperative. last can i bought was $43.00, but you solely need a little. if you enjoy to buy a whole can it would probably be cheaper to sand it off near emory cloth and refinish the table. hope i helped. don't be shy to ask a maintenace man or custodian, they will probably be flattered you recognize their work as a profession and efficacy their opinion. i know i was when i worked within the janitorial field. First, take a devout eraser (just a pencil eraser) and rub all over the sharpie. It doesn't sound approaching it'll work, but it does get some of it off.
This happen to us a couple weeks ago. My daughter was coloring papers on my husband's cherry computer desk with a Sharpie sight. The ink bled through and we were both sick about what my husband's hypersensitivity would be when he saw it.
My solution: I used nail polish remover on a cotton ball and dab and rubbed at the marks until they disappeared. If you look closely, you can see where for a while of the finish rubbed off as well, but my husband still have not seen the damage.
So, it appears that you can use pin polish remover on real wood as long as you rub with the small piece of the wood.
Just put an alcohol or acetone in a cotton and rub it to the area. Try it and it will be erase. Nail polish remover will work great as long as it is not indisputable finished wood. If it is real wood, use some mineral spirits.
There is a spray for removal of these grades which you can find at bookstores. rubbing alcohol (keep rubbing)
