I was padding up the gas can for the tractor and the attendant (NJ) did not secure the lid on the container. Now my SUV smells of gasoline. How do I verbs this?
Answers: Use plenty of baking soda on the spot....then vacumn it out after a couple of hours. I hold also used charcoal to absorb odors. Make sure its the plain charitable...without the self starting fluid surrounded by it. Place a small cardboard box ( shoe box ) filled beside charcoal in the coup¨¦ near the spot....it should involve some of this odor. You can also try some Fabreeze...it helps.
i have this same thing arise in my saloon and i soaked up as much of the gasoline as i could and drove with the window open and it freshly went away by itself
