I found a glob of hardened gum under the stool from one of my kids. (I read the other post and ice does not come across to work.)
How do you bring gum out of jeans?
Answers:    Usually putting ice on it until it get really hard...after hit with a sledge hammer to break it. I have also used the heavens cans you blow rotten keys on computer...turn can upside down...spray the gum next to liquid that comes out.....its intensely cold and can cause burns on your skin if you spray yourself...so take heed.

If all else fail....cut it out with cut-throat blade.
