My kid drew on my leather couch. It's dark brown so even if I could only lighten the float marks that would backing a bit but it's not wanting to come off. I know here are a lot of products forbidden for leather so I'm gentle of at a stand still. Help me!!!
Answers: Permanent markers (depending on the dyes used) will own permanently dyed the leather. Anything that claims to guarantee to remove it will also devastate the finish on the leather.
Use a foam water base leather cleaner to see if it makes any difference if it doesn't next much stronger chemicals have to be used which will as I own said damage the finish so are best departed to a qualified technician who will aslo be able to recolour and finish any areas that obligation it.
Please do not use baby wipe on leather furniture they will damage the finish. Magic erasers stroke like vastly fine sand paper so will almost for sure remove finish and/or pigment along with any feel tip it removes.
Solvents and alcohol will damage the leather finish and hairspray can be massively problematic to fix if it doesn't work as it will spread it further and may be impossible to remove.
Leather wishes gentle cleaning and the products should do the work , any scrub will damage it.
I don't know where on earth the idea of milk come from it is quite a adjectives one but will not work and may leave other problems to promise with.
Best to phone call a specialist technician to solve this for you
