How do you remove candle wax on the sofa? Candle wax has be hardened.

Candle wax has be hardened.
Answers:    what's your sofa material? I hope it's not leather.

on stuff there's a powder available that's called soda ash. (if I remember right, it's also used for pool treatment) it looks similar to regular detergent, but when mixed with dampen, its temperature go up. this melts the wax and the dampen prevents it from adhering backbone to the fabric.

contained by the absence of this, try loosening the wax near a blow drier and scrubbing the artificial area beside warm soapy hose down. then sponge it stale with cold marine. the wax should coagulate into little balls that you can brush past its sell-by date. repeat until all the wax is gone.

the wax might move a visible stain, though, depending on the character of the wax.
For future quotation, if this should happen again, DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE IT WHEN IT IS STILL SOFT. Walk away, and agree to it harden. If it is on a cushion, bring the cover off and put it surrounded by the freezer after it has hardened on its own. With any luck after it have gotten very firm you can just outer layer it off next to no residue left.

If you try to remove it when it is still soft, you will just rub it further into the fabric.

I know our first response is to try to fix it right there and after, but sometimes it is better to just waddle away and deal beside a problem later. This is one of them.
