My son recently made an interstate move and, thinking the trip would be a fast one, left meat and other frozen products in his philosophical freezer. Because of unplanned delays surrounded by reaching his destination, everything inside rotted. Months later, the freezer still smells horrid and he have been unqualified to re-stock it. Any suggestions??
I have a chest freezer that did the same entry...I was referred to a product call vanilla fridge & freezer wipe and it worked liked a charm...can`t remember the brand moniker. Also bi-carb soda works for mild odours. Use the vanilla fridge wipe (which comes surrounded by a spray bottle) generously.
Some people use - Bread Soda ... sodium bicarbonate ? and give notice in a small dish, bowl etc.
Although i notice in my local supermarket they have a - Small Freezer freshner to remove oders etc.
Unfortunately its not advisable to use - natural lemon for example, as it can - despoil or leave its frangance on other foods, approaching cheese or whatever, ok
Answers: Clean it with some straight white vinegar & rinse capably.:)
