My dog chewed up one of my pens, adn presently i have black ink on the hearth rug, and i tried rubbing alcohol and it made it worse. Can anyone help me?

Answers:    Well if you hold a light colored mat then you could try using WD-40 or Spot Shot Carpet Cleaner (WD-40 truly makes it so it may be impossible to tell apart thing purely labeled different) I've used this on many things and it works fantastic. It have gotten ink and tar stale of my carpet. The problem is it may discolor the runner a bit. So if that would bother you less than the ink that's what I'd try. You can find it Walmart and trunk grocery stores.
