I have a bunch of goggles that arent really that old but enjoy been through oodles cycles, theyre starting to get a bit cloudy and stained - nought that comes off beside rubbing though. My guess is that I didnt use a rinse agent often satisfactory... Is there some effortlessly available chemical or cleaner I can use to restore them?
Answers: The glassware is probably etched now, and possibly for always. However, you can try soaking them in white vinegar, or even boiling them surrounded by hot white vinegar. Sometimes this will remove the calcium and mineral deposits.
Perhaps you should investigate installing a water softening system. I can other tell when ours is low on saline, because I get a white powder adjectives over my dishwasher that looks like etching.
You enjoy hard hose and should get a marine softener. A soak in thaw white vinegar should help clear up the goggles in the meantime.
