Anybody know a good style?? Its a big glass candle holder and adjectives it is now is a dry pool of firm wax at the bottom :S
microwave

put it contained by a bowl of hot water. that will loosen the wax and allow you to gather it out.

addendum to answer number 2. There is METAL within the bottom of most candles... Who in their right mind would microwave a piece of metal?
Answers:    You can either grill it up, and soften the wax, or put it surrounded by the freezer to shrink the wax.

Two cautions roughly about heat up the wax.
First, wax is very flammable. If you put it within a pot on the stove, be very wary. And have some brackish or towels or something nearby surrounded by case the wax catch on fire. It's risky to try to extinguish burning wax by putting dampen on it - you end up splashing the burning wax adjectives over the place. You need to smother a wax fire.
Second, don't use a container that you like terribly much. As the wax melts, it's going to float adjectives over the pan, and stick to the inside. Then, you'll enjoy a clean candlestick and a wax-covered tub.

I'd start with the freezer method. If that doesn't work, I'd put the candlestick surrounded by an old coffee can and pour boiling marine over it.

All of this assumes, of course, that you can't a short time ago dig the wax out beside a knife. :)

Good luck!
