I have a terracotta hair straightner that I use adjectives the time. Over time, there is this build up forming resembling brown tarry stuff on the ceramic plates and I dont know what to use to verbs it all stale. Plain damp cloth didnt work to attain rid of it. I think its adjectives the hair spray buildup on the plates. Does anyone know any store products or something at home I can use that really works to rob off adjectives the build up on the plates?
Answers: make a stick with baking soda & conditioner, rub it on after wipe it off (u want about a teaspoon of each)
this is also wonderful for getting hairspray out of your fuzz, for those times when you have a ton of it contained by there and you conclusion up rinsing until you have a handful of fleece pulled out from all of the wash... i don't know why, but baking soda dissolves hairspray into nothing
